Parkinson’s Disease: A Discussion of Non-Motor Symptoms is an educational session hosted by the Rockland County Office for the Aging and the Parkinsons Wellness Project. Featured speaker Jackie Rivera, Patient Educator at Acadia Pharmaceuticals (who holds a Doctorate in Nursing Leadership), will discuss non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s—such as mood changes, sleep problems, fatigue, cognitive changes, digestive and bladder issues, pain, and loss of smell—while answering general questions about hallucinations and delusions. The free program is open to Rockland County residents age 60 and older and takes place Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 2:00–3:00 PM at the Rockland County Office for the Aging, 50 Sanatorium Road, Building F, Pomona, NY. Registration is required by calling 845-364-2100.
