what they’re saying…

PWP’s events and webinars

And good news…I “ran” (more like a fast walk) 3 miles yesterday on the Jones Beach boardwalk……I owe my getting back into moving to PWP…..THANK YOU….I feel alive again !!

Wish to thank you for your fantastic June 29th work in building community and mutual support networks for persons and their families and friends who are ill-affected by Parkinson’s. We enjoyed mingling and learning about new approaches to syndrome management — and hearing about other’s experiences, thoughts, and feelings regarding their own personal journeys with “the PD condition”.

Thank you so much for all the kind, inspirational, intellectual, and big-hearted steps you’ve taken in advancing outcomes and knowledge regarding PD treatment and success.

MUSIC AS MEDICINE 7FEB21

”Thanks for this! As someone who was diagnosed 2 years ago, I will vouch for the benefits of music and exercise on a Parkinson’s patient. Being an athlete (cyclist) and musician (pianist, keyboard player)has really helped stay as healthy as possible since the diagnosis.

Listen to these folks...they know what they’re talking about!

Thanks again”

”I thought my guitar playing of 70 years was a thing of the past…and now I feel like it’s not…I am crying from happiness — I can’t thank you all enough!”

“You encouraged me to keep playing my guitar!”

“What a terrific way to spend a snowy Sunday. Love the music”.

”The webinar was life changing! I loved it! I can’t thank you enough.”

” I cried, hard, a couple of times….lovely people with lovely, hopeful offerings… “

”I am so glad I saw this workshop…What a phenomenal program! Thank you and to all presenters!”

”Continued success shepherding the Parkinsons Wellness Project! I’m looking forward to attending more of your seminars!”

”A great webinar, We enjoyed it a lot!! My husband was an Israeli Folk dancer for years - I now hope he will start dancing again!!”

”You are not going to believe it, after today’s webinar, my husband started calling friends and he was very social... if not for the webinar, he would probably go to sleep…”

”Fantastic, endearing, pleasant, focused and passionate presenters!”

”Thank you so much! I loved this whole panel and can hardly wait to implement some of these things. May G-d bless you all.”

”Excellent presentation!!! Have you posted it anywhere that we can go back and hear it again...so much useful information I would like to review and also share with others! Thank you for bringing us such a power-packed webinar!”

”I thoroughly enjoyed the entire 90 minutes. I thought all of the people participating did an outstanding job. They made it not only very informative but fun. As a result of your webinar, I am going to try introducing more music in my husband’s daily routine. We have a piano and he used to play it but hasn’t for several years. I hope I can get him to try playing some songs. Thank you again for an excellent webinar.”

”Thank you for organizing and conducting “Music As Medicine. It was truly an exceptional webinar! So appreciate your efforts in pulling together such a distinguished panel and facilitating such actionable lectures!”

“Before going to the Studio classes I couldn’t dice, chop, or cut anything — now I’m back to working in the kitchen.”

“Parkinson’s should be viewed as a challenge, not a disease.”

“There were such positive ‘vibes’ and a ton of knowledge at your event. The information helps my mother understand which symptoms are common and normal to expect. Thank you for helping me get back up!”

I was so impressed with how you pulled this off, made it inviting and palatable, and to me — had more hope in it than the first gathering. Maybe it helped not to be with others in a large audience…to be strictly focussed, period. ..and your leader, Dr. Phil? did it just right.!

Thought it was really good today.  I know you had problems with zoom but I thought all 3 speakers were really interesting.  I thought Fayga Brissman was really a good speaker and very informative.  I also liked Alex Tressor.  I will check out his website.  I also thought the speech doctor did a really good job as the moderator.

Thank you, We enjoyed the webinar very much —  we could not see Dr. Rezak As long as we heard him that is what counts. Everything was excellent.  I liked most Alex’s philosophy. My husband is a bit older and he kind of lost his motivation and he is down. He used to be very motivated and disciplined but lost it gradually I am going to see if I can get an appointment with Dr. Rezak.  I believe he can be of great help to my husband. Thanks again.

It was great being a part of the event. I actually love all the events you put together. They are not rehearsed or corporate stuffy. They feel real and genuine. Like family. Thank You

Thank you for the brunch and for being so resilient under difficult circumstances. I got a couple of very useful tips which I’m grateful for! I look forward to attending the brunch on 6/14. Thanks again.

We really appreciate these programs, especially because of the examples of people who have managed to minimize their symptoms and maximize the quality of their lives.

Although I am not a person with Parkinson's, I found the entire program well done, informative, and fun! Excellent job!

Keep up the good work!

Today’s program was very good.

We are now considering buying a ping-pong table. That is definitely a new idea!

I loved this webinar, very informative. Learned things that I can do from home, like neuroplasticity

I loved this webinar. I have been diagnosed with Parkinsons for about 9 or ten years now, and I love to play ping pong. I have been doing Rock Steady Boxing for three years. I would like to find out about starting the ping pong group out here. Please contact me about that. I loved Mr. Bach’s take on it all!
